SAP Cloud ALM Test Repository integration (preview)

SAP Cloud ALM Test Repository integration allows you to search an SAP Cloud ALM repository to find test assets that match a supplied set of tokens.

Requirements

LiveCompare requires the following to connect to an SAP Cloud ALM Test Repository:

  • An SAP Cloud ALM API service instance with the appropriate authorities, also known as token scopes. (Link to prerequisites in consumer interface)

  • A new SAP Cloud ALM API service binding for use with LiveCompare.

Issues

If the SAP Cloud ALM API service doesn’t have the required token scopes, LiveCompare won’t be able to call the required SAP Cloud ALM APIs.

Search SAP Cloud ALM Test Repositories

The Search Test Repository action searches SAP Cloud ALM Test Repositories to find tests that refer to SAP executables. It searches in the following ways:

  • By technical name, for example, VA01.

  • By Fiori App tile text, for example, Manage bank (FIN_BANK is the technical name).
