When the application is ready to ship, the last step is to move the create a release bundle for the application and move it to the PRD system. Operations can run the Release Assurance app against the QAS and PRD systems to determine whether the application is safe to release. In LiveCompare projects, the Release Integrity panel opens the Release Assurance app.
The Release Assurance app finds a set of changed or missing dependent objects that may cause errors when a Basis Administrator moves the release bundle from the QAS system to the PRD system. The Release Assurance app’s Alerts and Alert Transport Info reports show the changed or missing dependent objects in their Dependent_Type and Dependent_Name columns. Operations should review these for inclusion in the release.
