LiveCompare Usage

The Usage Dashboard provides a graphical summary of the number of times users have displayed or downloaded LiveCompare reports. LiveCompare users can access reports using links in the LiveCompare user interface; users who do not have LiveCompare accounts may access reports via URLs that LiveCompare users have shared with them.

LiveCompare Administrators, Editors and Consumers can access the Usage Dashboard from the apps interface by clicking the Usage tool button. icon.

Usage charts

The Usage Dashboard includes the following charts. A scheduled task named Tricentis LiveCompare Usage runs each night on the LiveCompare server to update these charts.

Top 10 Viewers

This column chart shows the top ten viewers of LiveCompare reports. The chart shows each user’s email address and the number of times they have displayed or downloaded a report.

Top 10 Reports

This column chart shows the top ten reports that users displayed or downloaded, grouped by the workspaces from which users accessed the reports. The chart shows the name of each workspace, and the number of times a user displayed or downloaded a report from the workspace.

Year Summary

This column chart shows the number of times users displayed or downloaded reports, grouped by the year when users displayed or downloaded the reports.

Month Summary

This column chart shows the number of times users displayed or downloaded reports, grouped by the month when users displayed or downloaded the reports.

Chart conventions

Rest your cursor over a node or column in a chart to display its numerical value. Click Export to PNG underneath each chart to export the chart to a .png file, or the Show as table button to display the chart’s table data in a Data Grid.

Navigation panel

The navigation panel is displayed on the left-hand side of each Apps screen, and includes the following icons:

For Administrators

Icon Description
Licensing icon. Displays the License screen. Available for LiveCompare Administrators only.
Guided Configuration icon. Displays the Guided Configuration screen. Available for LiveCompare Administrators only.
Projects tool button (LiveCompare Administrators). Displays the Projects - Administrators screen. Available for LiveCompare Administrators only.
Apps Monitor tool button. Displays the Apps Monitor screen in the apps interface.
Usage tool button. Displays the Usage Dashboard.
Service Status tool button. Displays the Service Status screen.
Studio tool button. Displays the LiveCompare studio.
Contacts tool button. Displays the Contacts utility.

For LiveCompare Editors

The icons are marked with a vertical bar if they are selected in the navigation panel.

Header

If you have LiveCompare Editor or Consumer permissions, the header section includes a Select Project drop-down list box, which allows the current project to be selected. If LiveCompare is resource group-controlled, the header section contains a Select Resource Group drop-down list box, which allows the current Resource Group to be selected.

The following icons are displayed on the top right-hand side of each Apps screen.

Icon Description
Academy tool button. Accesses the Tricentis LiveCompare Consumers playlist from the Tricentis Academy.
Help tool button. Displays help for the current screen.
User tool button Displays the My Profile screen, showing your user profile.
Log out tool button. Logs out of your current LiveCompare session. The Logon screen displays the message ‘You have signed out.’.
