LiveCompare uses ODBC to connect to a SQL Server Certify database registered as an External Data Source.

Requirements

LiveCompare requires the following in order to connect to a Certify Test Repository.

  • Access to a SQL Server Certify database registered in LiveCompare as an External Data Source.
  • SQL Server authentication is required.

Issues

The following may cause connection problems when using Certify integration.

  • The Certify SQL Server database doesn't use SQL Server authentication.

Search Certify test repositories

The Search Test Repository action searches the following Certify components to find matching test assets:

  • Project
    • Folder
      • Test Step
        • Narrative
