Upload app parameter values from Excel

The apps consumer interface allows values for Pair List, Select List, String List and Table parameters to be uploaded from an Excel spreadsheet. This may be done from the editor screens for each of the parameter types. To upload parameter values from an Excel spreadsheet, carry out the following steps:

1. In the Variant screen, click ‘Edit’ next to a Pair List, Select List, String List or Table parameter.

2. Click ‘Choose File‘ in the ‘Upload Excel Spreadsheet‘ section.
3. Browse for the Excel spreadsheet to upload, and click ‘Open’.

Rules for uploading spreadsheets

The following rules apply when uploading parameter values from an Excel spreadsheet:

• Parameter values are uploaded from a spreadsheet’s Sheet1 worksheet.

• The Sheet1 worksheet should have a single header row and at least the same number of values as the parameter that is being populated.

• Values uploaded from Excel replace the parameter’s previous values.
