Reset Passwords
The Reset Passwords screen allows users with LiveCompare Administrator privileges to specify which native users are required to change their password when they next log in to LiveCompare. To specify that one or more users are required to change their password, carry out the following steps:
- Select the Administration/Users folder in the LiveCompare hierarchy and choose ‘Reset Passwords…’ from the context menu. The Reset Passwords screen is displayed, listing all the native LiveCompare user accounts (excluding users with Administrator privileges).
- Select the check box next to each user who will be required to change their password when they next log in. The check box in the column heading may be used to select or deselect all users.
- Click ‘Reset’. The Users screen is displayed, showing an ‘X’ in the ‘Must Change Password’ column for the LiveCompare Editors and Consumers who are required to change their password.
The Reset Passwords screen may not be used to clear a user’s ‘User must change password at next logon’ setting. However, this may be done by editing the details for the particular user.
