Uninstall the BW and HR components
To remove the LiveCompare BW or HR components, follow these steps for each SAP system on which the transports have been installed. Note that it is not necessary to remove the components if you are upgrading the SAP system to a new release of LiveCompare.
-
Access the
R3Inst\uninstallfolder from the LiveCompare distribution directory. Copy the file(s) beginning with ‘K’ to the SAP system’s\usr\sap\trans\cofilesdirectory, and the file(s) beginning with ‘R’ to the SAP system’s\usr\sap\trans\datadirectory. -
Please note the following when copying the transport files:
-
For UNIX servers, you must log on with the root user ID to copy the files and then set the authorization mode of both the copied files and the directory to Read, Write, Execute for all users (chmod 777).
-
For Windows servers, you must log on as <sid> adm. The directory to which you copy the files must be in NTFS format, and the copied files must be writeable.
-
If you copy files from the distribution directory to your SAP server using FTP, be sure to transfer the files in binary mode.
-
Use the
STMStransaction to import the transports in ascending order (lowest transport number first). When importing the transports, you should always select ALL import options. -
Review the transport log files for condition codes greater than 4. If any errors are found, please contact Tricentis Technical support.
-
Run transaction SU01 for each LiveCompare user and use the ‘Roles’ tab to remove each of their assigned LiveCompare authorization roles. The LiveCompare roles have names that begin with
/ICORP/LC_.
The uninstall transport does not remove any of the following roles or their associated authorizations.
-
/ICORP/LC_HR_AUTHS -
/ICORP/LC_BW_AUTHS
These roles and authorizations may be removed manually using the PFCG transaction.
After the deinstall transport has been applied to an SAP system, carry out the following steps on the SAP system to confirm that LiveCompare has been uninstalled.
-
Execute transaction SE16.
-
Enter TADIR in the Table Name field and press Table Contents (F7).
-
In the Selection screen, enter /ICORP/* in the DEVCLASS field, and press Execute (F8).
If any /ICORP/* objects are still in the list, contact Tricentis Technical support.
Uninstall the SAP Solution Manager authorizations role
The /ICORP/LC_SSM_AUTHS role may be removed using the PFCG transaction.
