Configure SAP to collect BW usage data

To configure an SAP BW system to collect BW usage data, carry out the following steps:

1. Run transaction RSA1.

2. Select ‘Settings for BW Statistics’ from the Tools menu.

3. In the Maintenance of Statistics Properties screen, perform the following steps in each of the Query, Info Provider, Web Template and Workbook tabs.

   1. Select the objects for which you wish to collect BW usage data.

   2. To activate statistics for the selected objects, select ‘X On’ from the first Settings drop-down list.

   3. In the Query and Info Provider tabs, select the statistics details level from the second Settings drop-down list.

   4. Click ‘Replace Values’ to apply the settings to the selected objects.
